April 2026 Update
Managing samples Used to be Hard
Water professionals often tell us that scheduling and collecting water samples is one of the biggest headaches in the industry. Usually, this stress is managed by spreadsheets, PDFs, downloaded CSVs, and a whole lot of emails and texts. Not anymore.
We’re excited to introduce Waterly Samples, a new addition to the Waterly Cloud Platform. When you pair it with Waterly Rounds, you can simplify and automate the following:
Single or Multi-system Sample Planning & Scheduling
Chain-of-Custody with GPS verification
Lab Results Integration
Dynamic Reporting & Analytics
Mobile Field Sampling App
Join us for one of our upcoming live webinars to see Waterly Samples in action and qualify for our $100 Amazon Gift card drawing just by attending (must be present). The first 100 existing customers that add Samples to their Waterly subscription get 25% off.
Have you ever wished the mobile app on your iPhone had a number keypad instead of using the keyboard?
Rounds now includes an option to use a numeric keypad for metric entry on iPhones. When enabled, tapping a metric value field opens a decimal number pad instead of the full keyboard, making number entry quicker and reducing the chance of accidental keystrokes. This feature has been tested and works on Safari, Chrome and Edge.
To enable the number keypad, go to the gear in the bottom left then tap My Preferences then toggle the button next to Enable number input on iPhone for data entry. If you prefer the talk-to-text option, do not enable this feature. If you have an Android phone, the keypad has always been available to you. Click to read HELP DOC.
If you had options, which one would you choose?
You guys asked for something to replace your paper logbook and sticky notes. Here you go…
The Logbook feature in Rounds builds on this long-standing practice by bringing operational notes into a shared, digital space. Entries are clear and legible, tied to the person who recorded them, and available to the entire team in one place. With the ability to pin important notes, attach photos, add tags, and upload supporting documents, Log Book turns individual observations into a historian for operational knowledge—helping teams communicate more clearly, reduce missed details during shift changes, and work more confidently together. At its core, Logbook works much like a traditional paper log—entries are added as things happen, stay tied to the site where they’re recorded, and build a running history over time. This help doc walks through how to create entries, pin important notes, and use Logbook as part of your normal workflow. Click to read HELP DOC.
COMING SOON! Left Navigation Bar Changes
We continue to listen and make operator-centric improvements in our products. Soon, you will see changes to the Rounds left navigation bar. First, you will notice that you can select Data Entry. This change removes some confusion with new users.
Cool stuff coming…the Reporting navigation item will be in the middle and you will have MANY more ways to filter to create reports that you need.
We will let you know when the new reporting options are available!
The Dashboard item functions that same way but is just the bottom selection.
