What gets us up in the morning every day are the faithful stewards of water, wastewater, stormwater, and greywater who are some of the grittiest, hard-working, people you will ever meet. The often unsung heroes of Public Works that combine chemistry, physics, math, hydraulics, biology, and common sense know-how wake up and work tirelessly every day to make sure that when you open your faucet or flush your toilet, you can be certain things will work as expected. Safe, drinkable water comes to US residents for about $2-4 per thousand gallons, and wastewater is treated for close to the same rate. We think that is gosh darn near a miracle and want to make or keep water and sanitation affordable for everyone, forever, regardless of where you live and who you are. God only gave us so much water, and the people that steward it inspire us every day; they’re the ‘why’ behind why Waterly.

About Us

We exist to serve
the stewards of water

Our Core Values

Individually, corporately, and for our customers, we claim the following values that make us who we are:

  • We will love community. We recognize that humans thrive best in a healthy community, so we encourage that in our homes, at work within Waterly, in our congregations, as well as in the water, wastewater, and industrial water systems where we serve.

  • We work hard to keep things simple (but still smart). Simplicity is often at odds with flexibility and solving hard problems, and life so we work hard to simplify the complexity of stewarding safe water with technology that serves us…not with tech that needs us to serve it.

  • We stay positive & count our blessings. We work to create value from removing stress from our customers and work to minimize “bad stress” in our lives as well. We understand that tech can be hard; we work to stay positive when others buckle, counting our blessings for those that serve water every day.

  • We will solve the hard problems of water. Often the hard problems are helping people to solve hard problems. Regulations built to protect create opportunities for us to work hard to solve the tough stuff (math, chemistry, physics, the psychology of change, and more).

  • Be honest by not hiding stuff and admitting shortcoming. By being honest with each other (that means you being honest with us too!), we are best able to create opportunities to help each other best. We think too many companies spend too much time telling you what your problems are so they can apply their solution to a problem that wasn’t really so much a problem to begin with. We listen. You share. We help.

Vision

Safe, Smart and Efficient Water for
Everyone.

Mission

Waterly uses technology to empower and educate water stewards with accurate and reliable data that reduces risk and improves efficiency.
